I recently began using the PBS series "The War That Made America" with my seventh grade students. It's a great series, however some of the student activities were a little over their heads. I decided to design worksheets with questions based on each part of the series to ensure that my students understood the events that were being shown. I think these worksheets were pretty effective. To use them click on the link below.
WORKSHEETS
Mrs. Madlin, I am using "The War That Made America" PBS series for the first time in my 8th grade social studies class. I found your worksheets with guiding questions and they look excellent. By any chance would you have the accompanying answer keys for them?

ReplyDeleteI would love to have these answers too!

I published them on this blog. Just type the War that Made America in the search area. They should come up. I didn't end up doing an answer key for episode four because it doesn't follow my state curriculum.
